Ah, so I return from holiday and find the knives out for the BBC. Is it because they are overspending or because the BBC were not always Tory friendly.
Maybe the second more than the first. What we need is more trash TV. More garbage like Harry Hill, Ant & Dec etc. Most of the stuff churned out by ITV. Our TV used to be the best in the world. It is possible at it's lowest ebb.
I would imagine that one of the digital tv services is right for the chop. I hope it's not BBC4 which is excellent and I hope they cans till afford Family Guy. Bird is the word anyone?
